What motivated me to take the photo? I walked past him at first, but when I saw the sexy German-type moustache (SORRY!) I had to walk back and take a photo. I liked the pose and the briefcase.
As I never had or have used an exposuremeter before - I overexposed it a little, a humane mistake. But who cares, I got the photo I wanted. Here it is.
Taken in Germany, Trier. Early November 2006.
Leica M4-P, 50mm Summicron, Agfa APX 100
Shot 1/250s at 4.0, as far as I remember. I chose 4.0 for the depth of field, and just felt the shutterspeed would be right at 1/250s.
Hopefully that's all. The last day submitting rocks.
Edit: Oh, I forgot. Developed in d76. Scanned from the negative.
Yeah, that's what I thought too when I saw this the first time as a scan, but some moments pass by so quickly... Taking a few steps forward could have exposed me.
hah, looks that we almost missed us in Trier... (no I haven't psoted any pictures yet)
good to see that some people partecipate to the contest using real "gear" and not electronci and plastic.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

Thy life is short and thy art so long.
Yeah, real gear with no lightmeter. Just the right thing.
